Hard on the people who paid to travel to the away games, but the play acting and officiating witnessed in 6 European games made me happy to go out of it.
Reminded me why I never watch a single champions league or Europa game in any season, as it's infuriating and more like a panto than a game of football.

Lets be fair, Bilic had how many days to prepare for a European campaign, I'm surprised we got as far as we did albeit against shit opposition?

Bilic
But Bilic insisted he would rather lift the FA Cup than finish second, third or fourth. 'Win the Cup and I can hold it up,' he said. 'Get in the Champions League and I have to buy a magazine to show them the League table and shout, 'Look where we are!'
'There is proof if you have silverware. So I'd prefer to win the FA Cup… and finish fifth.'
'The FA Cup is special. There was a stage before they changed the format of the Champions League when the cup was good because through the cup you would qualify for the Cup Winners' Cup and only the league champions would go through to the European Cup. 'But then they changed it and made it the Champions League. Suddenly it was more important to finish in the top three or four in the league than to win the cup.
'But in England, the FA Cup for me never lost its value.'
With this season being the last at Upton Park, Bilic admits winning a trophy would be particularly poignant.
'It would be perfect,' he added. 'Do we have a good team? Yes. Will we approach it properly? Of course. Do we have a chance? Yes, we can win against any team.'

Of course, but to throw in the towel before a ball had been kicked for a cup semi final was unforgivable.

I go to support the team, the players whoever plays, be it the kids he put out against Forest, the patched up team and desperate loan against Man City.
However it was pretty clear from day 1 until the club was safe it was ALL about the league.

Yes, P son, many.
Mostly the OS mob who told us progress at UP was impossible and that all we had to do was be a Premier League club when we move so that the OS can sprinkle it's magic dust and take us up a level.
Sickeningly, having been proven wrong, they're now trying to pretend that the OS is responsible for this season.

Bilic's remit was to get us into the Olympic Stadium a Premier League club. A FEAT many on here thought was beyond him, and advocated keeping Allardyce as a safe pair of hands.
Thankfully, SLAV doesn't seem particularly interested in his remit because it's beneath him.

More fool you to be honest then.
Personally I always knew the score with BFS and the cups in the first 3 season he was with us.

"Cups don't mean anything any more,We've worked our way to the League Cup semi-finals. It doesn't matter, what does is our Premier League status and getting points. The cups are secondary in our plight, especially with our injuries"
He was spot on with that and following his remit set out by the board.

I don't know how anyone can defend the FAT SLOB's record on cup competitions. His own words speak volumes about his contempt for cup games and our travelling fans who love both cup competitions. Just hours after I booked tickets foe the LC semi final first leg away to Man City he said:
"Cups don't mean anything any more,We've worked our way to the League Cup semi-finals. It doesn't matter, what does is our Premier League status and getting points. The cups are secondary in our plight, especially with our injuries".
From that day onwards, I finally realised that his critics were right all along. He's a cowardly cunt of a man and a manager.

In all fairness I wouldn't swap drinking in the Andorrian, Maltese or Romanian sunshine which a few hundred fellow West Ham fans over talking the Lab for a walk and drinking a couple of halves.
